The Millpond is the focal point of the Brighton community. It’s where the hustle and bustle of downtown meets a one-of-a-kind natural beauty.  

The Mill Pond has served many uses over the years. It provided the water power for the Brighton Mill to grind grain. In the winter it would stock the ice house that was located where the current City Hall stands.

Brighton has plans in the works to renovate and clean the pond in the coming year or so.
