HVCC is honored to be Sponsored by:
Don't miss this great parade in Small Town USA. We currently have 20 HVCC Members attending. If you are on the fence please join us. It is so much fun. There are tons of people and a nice route down into town. I will be there to lead our group to where we need to be.
The plan is to meet at Menard's parking lot on Jackson Road at 8:15am. We will be leaving Menard's at 8:30am sharp. We will head west on Jackson Road to Baker Road. Turning Right onto Baker we will head north to Dexter. We turn Right on Dan Hoey Rd and continue until it meets Dexter-Ann Arbor Road. We turn Left on Dexter-Ann Arbor and then Left on Keningston St. This is where the car staging area is located.
Staging officially begins at 9am however I would like to get lined up early. We will have time to chat and check out some other vehicles in the parade. Bring chairs to sit on so you can be comfortable until we begin. We can also use this time to prep our cars with all the patriotic swag we have. American flags and anything Red, White and Blue are highly encouraged. The parade begins at 10am and cars are towards to latter end of the parade.
We feel to handout candy to the hundreds of kids who line the streets looking for a treat.
The parade route will lead us down through town and we should be able to exit by heading north on Dexter-Pinckney. There John McMullen can lead the group to Zukey Lake Tavern for our lunch. I will have to double back to get the kids who are walking in the parade with other groups. Please save us a spot for four at Zukey. We are looking forward to a great time.
